黄山－屯溪／Huangshan - Tunxi

因为膝盖不好，原本就没有打算去爬任何山。可是中国有名气的山多的是，没有去“拜访”任何一座山又好像很奇怪。最后在杭州吴夷山青年旅舍一名职员的怂恿下，决定临时改变旅游计划，先到邻近的黄山转一圈，才到苏州去。必须承认，虽然登山让我叫苦连天，但真的很庆幸有到黄山去。谢了，小芳，你的介绍没有错！
Because of my bad knees, I did not plan on making any trips to the mountains, even though China is well-known for its many beautiful mountains. But at the persuasion of one of the staff at the youth hostel I was staying, I changed my mind and decide to check out Yellow Mountains, near to Hangzhou, before continuing on to Suzhou. I must admit, although climbing the mountains was hell, I am really glad I came here. Many thanks Xiaofang for your great recommendations!

距离黄山最近的小城市是屯溪，离杭州只有两个半小时的车程。就和之前去过的地方一样，这里也有个老街，所以在卸下行李后当然是先到老街进行“朝圣”。屯溪的老街非常长，而且应该是我到过的老街或古城中，建筑看起来最原始，也是最有特色的老街。这里的房子看起来都是旧旧的，店铺也保留了原来的容貌，所以你是看不到摩登和新潮店面的。
The city nearest to Huangshan was that of Tunxi, which is only two and a half hours from Hangzhou. Just like all the other cities that I’ve visited in China so far, Tunxi has its own Old Street. So, of course, the thing I did on reaching Tunxi was to check out the Old Street. I must say this is by far, the most authentic and interesting Old Street that I’d seen. It was a very long street, with buildings that definitely looked very old, with windows that are falling off and doors with old designs and all. As such, the shops all had a rustic look, and definitely none of those modern or hip looking shops that I’d seen elsewhere.

这里以出产文房四宝为名，不过偶尔还是会看到其他的产品，像是丝绸或是烧饼、臭豆腐和云吞等地方小吃。
Tunxi is famous for its fine ink slabs, hence, most of the shops hawk ink slabs, brushes, paintings and other related wares. But you can also see shops selling souvenirs, silk, local snacks like biscuits, smelly tofu and wonton. 如果你看不出最后两张照片是什么，告诉你，那是从丝绸制作过程。　　～伟
