如果说到目前为此有什么城市是我不喜欢的,那应该就是斯洛伐克的首都—布拉迪斯拉发了,因为这里真的没有什么好看的。
If I have to pick a place that I didn’t like so far, then it has got to be Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia. In simple terms, there is really nothing to see here.
城堡并没有什么特别,去的时候更是在装修,里头到底怎样完全不知道。想从外头拍张照片,却只看到四处都是施工架。
The citadel was nothing to crow about. As the citadel was undergoing renovation works when I was there and was not opened for visitation, I had no idea if the inside was more impressive than the outside. Then I tried taking a nice picture of the whole castle, only to find that three quarters of the outside is covered by scaffolding.
I tried to see if I can do the place some justice by getting a nice overview picture of the whole city from the top of the hill of the citadel, only to find the whole city shrouded in a cloud of fog. Although there are some small parts where you can get a clearer view of the city, but the view is nothing special.
Taking a walk along the river, you will not find crystal clear waters nor will you see usual beautiful shoreline lined with cafes or restaurants.
The Old Town does indeed have some old buildings and staring at these “oldies”, you do get a vague feeling of “old”. But compared to those I’d seen in Prague, these buildings are really nothing special.
I must admit though, however boring a city or town may be, there is bound to be a small, wee bit that is interesting about it. In this case, it is these interesting statues that you will find littering the streets of the Old Town.
